    From sunrise gibbon calls to crocodile lake, this 10 day trip is all about experiencing Vietnam at its wildest.

    We’ll journey from the lowland rainforests of Cat Tien to the mountains of Bach Ma, encounter some of the rarest primates in the world, and join conservationists working to protect Vietnam’s most endangered wildlife.

Why travel with us?

  • Ethics are at the core of everything we do, and these trips are no exception. We work hard to ensure all wildlife encounters are handled ethically and are constantly re-evaluating and working to improve tours.

    We also consider human ethics, ensuring that local organisations and guides are at the forefront of what we do.

  • Each trip directly supports at least one genuine wildlife conservation project - whether this be a sanctuary, community conservation group, or locally run wildlife business. We want the trips to contribute to a brighter future for wildlife, as well as giving the guests an incredible experience.

  • Sometimes to see wildlife, we have to be willing to travel to more rural areas that aren’t always the most popular tourist spots. This can be difficult or intimidating for a solo traveller, so let us remove some of that anxiety and help get you to where the animals are, safely and supported.

  • Instead of visiting as many places as possible, we try prioritise deep connection with the areas we visit. We may not include a list of must see spots, but we give as much chance as possible to see wildlife in every location by ensuring we are never in a rush.

    We also keep numbers small on our trips (6-10 max) in order to protect the wildlife from over crowding, and the humans from overwhelm! The focus is on connection to nature so expect peaceful downtime, not a party holiday!

  • These trips offer a great opportunity for conservation students or others interested in the wildlife industry to see how conservation is managed in different parts of the world. We learn directly from local guides or organisations and wherever possible include interactive workshops or activities to give the best insights possible into what they do.

  • Not everyone has people in their lives that are as passionate about wildlife and nature as they are… but these trips attract exactly those kind of people. If you’re looking to meet future travel buddies, or even just be around people who share the same passions and interests as you then this is the right environment.

    These trips offers many opportunities to see wildlife, but sightings can never be guaranteed. Wildlife moves in unpredictable ways and the welfare of the animal will always be considered before tourist experience. So please come with patience and a curiosity to learn about the humans, plant life, and any little critter you may see.

    project.wild has strict policies against racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexual misconduct, and any form of hate speech. Please know that none of the above will be tolerated on these trips.

    When travelling to remote areas to see wildlife you may lose some of the comforts you are used to! Hot water, toilet plumbing, WiFi, and electricity are all things that can fluctuate so please be prepared to embrace a more simple way of doing things when needed.
